Petrich. 160 TIR trucks are waiting along Kulata border checkpoint, Radio FOCUS Pirin correspondent informs. Police presence is stepped up in the area over the coming meeting between representatives of the Bulgarian Business Association and the protesting Greek farmers. Director of the Regional Police Directorate-Blagoevgrad Commissary Konstantin Tityanov and the deputy district governor of the town of Blagoevgrad Georgi Bahanov have also arrived on the border.
Tourist business in Bansko winter resort is loosing EUR 200 thousand per day, chairperson of the tourist association in the town Yuliana Hristova said.
She noted they are on the border to express their disagreement with the blockage on Kulata-Promachonas border.
