Sofia. 30 rescuers from the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross took part in rescuing an alpinist who sustained an injury while climbing Vihren mount in Pirin Mountain, the Mountain Rescue Service told FOCUS News Agency .
Signal for the incident was received on Saturday’s afternoon. The man had sustained a heavy exposed injury with effusion of blood of his thigh.
The Mountain Rescue Service warns that April 11, Sunday, is the last day of the official ski season when the ski outfits will work. Weather conditions are good for mountain tourism.
Measured temperature at Cherni Vrah peak is -5 degrees Celsius, at Musala peak - -9 degrees C, at Borovets - +1 degree C and in Bansko resort - +5 degrees C.
