400 mln euro mixed-use scheme to take shape near Sofia train station
06.6.2008Spanish and Bulgarian investors have joined forces on a new mixed-use residential, office and retail complex in the vicinity of the Sofia central train station, reports news agency SeeNews.
The tab for the Five Towers of Sofia complex will run up to 400 mln euro, the news agency was told by Krasimir Dimitrov from consulting agency Source.
The two investors are Bulgaria's Techno Residential Park and Spain's Urbas Guadahermosa.
Each partner will control a 50% stake in the project otherwise scheduled for completion by the end of 2012.
Five Towers of Sofia will have a total build area of 525,000 sq m, including 360,000 sq m of residential space, 40,000 sq m of retail space and 120,000 sq m of office space.
Another Spanish investor, Riofisa, is also developing a major real estate project in the same neighborhood.
