Affordable development unveiled in Oman
08.10.2009A new affordable family residential development in Oman called Dar Al Zain has been launched and a show villa has already been completed.
Construction work on the project will be conducted in four phases, with the first one scheduled to be finished by the end of the first half of 2010.
The 17 million Omani rial ($44 million) project is apparently designed to cater to families in the country.
Mishal Moosa, managing director of Zain Property Development, commented: "Dar Al Zain was designed and constructed around the requirements of the Omani community; more specifically, Omani middle income families looking for a safe, clean and comfortable community in which to live."
It is situated close to Muscat International Airport and is only a two-minute drive from the coast.
This comes after Ahmad Saidali, vice president of fund advisory and indirect investment at CB Richard Ellis Financial Services Middle East, said the potential real estate investment trust market in Oman is four per cent of the total in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, Gulf News reported.
