28.2.2011Italian world cup ski racer Christof Innerhofer won the yesterday’s start in Bulgaria’s winter resort of Bansko just 0.01 second ahead of Germany’s Felix Neureuther. France’s Thomas Mermillod-Blondin finished third.
Innerhofer’s victory will be remembered as the one with the tiniest margin in the history of the skiing world cup. The Italian ski racer was awarded a 30,000 euro cash prize and an apartment in the resort of Bansko.
Bulgarian ski racer repeated his world cup personal record finishing 21st.
