Bansko Ski Season Opening
17.12.2009Marc Girardelli won the charity slalom in Bansko. Second finished the Swiss champ Pirmin Zurbriggen, with the Austrian Helmut Strolz third.
The last minute surprise was the Swedish pop star Dr Alban, who excited the fans in the night of the season opening.
The ski slopes were perfectly maintained and Banderishka polyana offered more than 50 cm snow. Numerous skiers and boarders flooded the ski zone for the first downhill of the year.
The resort itself was enlivened by numerous tourists and ski lovers from all over. The party season in Bansko has definitely begun.
