13.12.2010I am Austrian, live in Switzerland and very often visit Germany. I can honestly say that Bansko has gained good name in these countries. A reputation can be improved only if progress does not stop, investment and building should not halt. This is the only way people from all over the world will come to Bulgaria and get to know it. I hope this could be achieved. In February next year Bansko will host the Men’s Skiing World Cup tournaments. Usually it takes about twenty years to receive the right to host a competition of this rank, if this is allowed. Bansko is one of the best ski regions in Eastern Europe. But if a resort, just like a man, is not developed, it is bound to regress. This will be Bansko’s fate if the resort is not developed. And the most important thing is that the resort has all perfect chances to develop.
