Excellent weather conditions for tourism on mountains: rescue service
03.5.2010The weather conditions are excellent for tourism on mountains, the Mountain Rescue Service at the Bulgarian Red Cross told FOCUS News Agency.
The rescuers advise mountain hikers to use the winter marking because there is a risk of slipping on the mountain slopes, where there is still snow.
No incidents with tourists were reported in the past 24 hours.
Light wind is blowing at the peak of Cherni Vrah in the Vitosha mountain range. It is sunny and the temperature is 6°C.
It is foggy at the peak of Musala in the Rila mountain range. Moderate wind is blowing and the temperature is 1°C.
The temperature at the peak of Botev in the Stara Planina mountain range is 4°C. Moderate wind is blowing. It is sunny.
It is sunny also in Bansko and Borovets resorts. The temperatures are 7°C and 9°C respectively.
