September 27 (BTA) - Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva conferred in New York with Costa Rica's Minister of Foreign Relations and Worship Manuel Ventura Robles, Zaharieva's Ministry said in a press release on Friday. The Bulgarian Foreign Minister reiterated her country's readiness for invigoration of the bilateral political dialogue with Costa Rica and of the inter-regional dialogue between the European Union and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC). The two chief diplomats discussed a number of issues on the international agenda. Ventura showed interest in Bulgaria's and EU's experience in dealing with migration, considering the fact that Costa Rica is the number one destination for immigrants in Latin America with 386,000 registered aliens, mainly from Nicaragua.
