Man buried under avalanche in Bansko skiing in area that is off-limits
23.2.2010The man buried under an avalanche in Bansko resort was skiing in an area that is off-limits, Bansko Mayor Alexander Kravarov told FOCUS News Agency.
He added the 22-year-old man had caused a big avalanche and died on the spot.
After the recent heavy snowfall and warm snap the avalanche threat is heightened and tourists must avoid skiing in areas that are off-limits, he warned.
This is the fourth death case on the ski runs in Bansko this year. Three of them happened in areas that are off-limits.
