Prince Albert II to Taste Kapama in Bansko
13.12.2010A true royalty will take part in a downhill race on the Shiligarnika ski run and try traditional Kapama (delicious meat and cabbage stew) in one of the taverns in Bulgaria’s winter resort of Bansko. Prince Albert II of Monaco would prefer Bansko to the prestigious Swiss resort of St. Moritz. His Serene Highness will visit Bansko for a charity ski show organized by his foundation. The event will take place March 26-27, 2011. Bulgaria’s football legend Hristo Stoichkov, F1 pilots, famous tennis players, singers and actors will be among the VIP guests at the ski show.
“I promise to ski more this year. I will bring my whole family to try the excellent ski runs above Bansko,” Stoichkov, who is an honorary citizen of Bansko, said.
Stoichkov and his wife, Mariana, were the VIP guests at the opening of this year’s ski season in Bansko.
