Russian Pensioners Keen on Bulgarian Property
16.4.2010Russian pensioners reportedly keenly buy real estates in Bulgaria. Their interest is mostly directed towards houses and apartments for 30000 euro. The low prices of the properties and the warmer climate lure the Russians into moving permanently to Bulgaria. It is very likely that soon the British pensioners who have established second homes in Bulgarian mountainous villages will be outnumbered by the Russians.
For a third year in a row Bulgaria has been among the most popular real estates markets in Russia. According to Russian sources, Bulgaria’s aggressive advertising policies and the low prices are the basic reasons the country is often preferred to traditional resort destinations like Spain and Italy.
The most frequent average Russian investors in Bulgarian real estates till a year ago were the middle aged who sought summer houses for the vacations.
The average price at which Russians buy property in Bulgaria for the first trimester of 2010 has been by 7% lower than a year ago - 39000 euro.
