Special path for people with disabilities in Pirin National Park
31.5.2010Blagoevgrad. A special path for people with disabilities has been constructed in Pirin National Park. It is situated on the territory of the park above Bansko resort and is long 1,5km, director of Pirin National Park eng. Georgi Grancharov said for Radio Focus Pirin. He specified that it is an initiative that dates from long ago, since 2004. Grancharov said that it is an educative path, which could be used by people with specific abilities. According to the director of the park the surface of the path is made to be suitable for wheel-chairs. Its ends are made in relief for sightless people. There are six break spots alongside the path, he added.
